The JideTech P22 Series is a professional 8MP 4G LTE PTZ IP camera developed for remote surveillance, private network integration and centralized monitoring projects. It combines 36X optical zoom, long-range infrared night vision, intelligent detection, ONVIF integration, RTSP streaming and optional OpenVPN client access.
The camera supports 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi and RJ45 Ethernet connectivity. Through its built-in OpenVPN client, the camera can connect to a customer-owned private VPN server, making it suitable for remote sites where secure centralized access is required.

36X Optical Zoom and 8MP Ultra HD Video
The P22 uses a 4.6–167mm motorized zoom lens with 36X optical zoom. It allows operators to monitor a wide scene and then zoom in on distant objects while maintaining significantly more detail than digital zoom alone.

What Is OpenVPN?
OpenVPN is a VPN technology used to establish an encrypted network tunnel between the camera and a private VPN server. After the VPN connection is established, authorized users, monitoring servers, VMS platforms or NVR systems can access the camera through the customer's private network.
The P22 operates as an OpenVPN client. It can connect to a customer-owned OpenVPN server through 4G LTE, Wi-Fi or wired Ethernet. This reduces the need to expose the camera management interface directly to the public internet.
OpenVPN is especially useful for telecom projects, remote surveillance, solar security systems, mobile deployments and centralized monitoring systems that require private network access.

How OpenVPN Works with the Camera
P22 Camera → 4G LTE / Wi-Fi / Ethernet → Encrypted OpenVPN Tunnel → Customer VPN Server → VMS / NVR / Monitoring Center
- The camera connects to the internet through a 4G SIM card, Wi-Fi or wired Ethernet.
- The built-in OpenVPN client connects to the customer's VPN server.
- A secure tunnel is established between the camera and the private network.
- The camera receives a private network route or VPN address according to the customer's server configuration.
- Authorized systems can access the camera through ONVIF, RTSP, HTTP, HTTPS or other supported protocols.

OpenVPN Configuration Requirements
The customer normally needs to provide the following information for OpenVPN configuration:
- OpenVPN server IP address or domain name
- VPN server port
- TCP or UDP connection mode
- Username and password, if required
- OpenVPN certificate or configuration files, if required
- Private network IP address and routing requirements
- DNS and firewall requirements
- Installation country and local 4G operator
Important: The camera operates as an OpenVPN client. A VPN server, public cloud VPN account or hosted VPN service is not included. The customer must provide and manage a compatible OpenVPN server. Server-side routing, firewall, certificate and network settings are the responsibility of the customer's network administrator.
